Additional events like the Health Fair give residents opportunities to hear vendors describe their services and answer questions. The annual park-wide yard sale generates funds to enhance the community. Residents are encouraged to join in existing committees such as the Beautification Committee, Recreation Committee and others. Additional volunteer and outreach opportunities are available through churches and organizations in the area.
Learning opportunities abound in our community, at Gulf Gate Library, and at nearby Suncoast Technical College, Sarasota’s popular community college and tech center.
